Herbie is a maintenance assistant that assists in taking care of vehicles in an automated way, helping its users to save time and money
The most interesting point of building Herbie was to structure the positioning of its information in a consistent design
The platform serves from the common user to automotive startups, fleet companies and automotive companies in general, helping to automate tasks related to vehicles. Because it is a large and diverse tool, its project took 4 months and has more than 200 screens to address the flow of its main functionalities, for its various levels of users.
The user registers the vehicle's data, informing its model and year, in addition to how the vehicle is used. Then, the platform makes the Intuitive Manual of the vehicle available and crosses this data so that the user receives all the alerts, information and needs of his vehicle in an automated and anticipated way.
Herbie compiles the Condition of Use information provided by the largest car manufacturers in the world. With this information available, it can track the level of usage of the vehicle and divide it into 3 types of usage conditions: Ideal Condition, Mixed Condition, and Severe Condition. Thus, it helps the user in the maintenance, safety, expenses and driving of the vehicle
Automated alerts are sent to Its users, reporting which maintenance is coming up and when it should be done. In addition, Herbie also warns about other situations and impediments with the State Traffic Department. The information is suggestive, so the user has the free choice to follow the recommendations or not, and can switch between them immediately.
We built the Herbie platform from scratch, aiming for a friendly-user experience. From choosing the typography and color palette, to building the smallest components. We focused on building a beautiful, consistent, flexible and complete design for the product. This way we put all the necessary pieces together to start turning our designs and prototypes into screens.
In the user interface design process, we improved and adjusted all inconsistencies, creating more than 200 screens to unravel the entire flow of its functionalities. Login, registration, vehicle list, history, alerts, reports and information, drivers, intuitive manual, reports, vehicle registration, payments, and internal vehicles are some of the highlighted functionalities.
We produced the site's interface incorporating Herbie's main goals and values, to allow users to understand how the tool helps in vehicle management. In this layout we departed from a more conservative structure to build something with greater visual impact.
I was surprised by Zenit Creative's professionalism. Practical, punctual, and with great facility to absorb content and transform it into easy-to-navigate design. Knowledge of modern applications and good taste in the choice of elements.
